Who Am I? :”)

Personal, I am a 5’4”, jumping bean, full of energy, who loves to get down on the dance floor.

But on a “serious” note, hehehehehe, I am a Boston photographer who builds a social media following on Instagram, @Brianpuruiz / @Corenersofboston, and Tik Tok, @Brianpuruiz / @Corenersofboston. What can I say, I love home decor, expensive lattes, and historic caricature. Oh and plants.

I loved photography. I feel as though photography saved my life.

Why wedding photograph? And why now?

Well hunni, I dropped out of college after finishing my second semester of architecture/business school. I love architecture and it has evolved into my life in starting Corners of Boston, but I hated sitting in an office and staring at the screen.

My soul if too free spirit to tame ;)

After dropping out, I start taking pictures around Boston and got my break from having my photo on the cover of Boston Common Magazine. I landed an internship and started building a portfolio. Eventually, landing a big boy job as the creative associate of a Media agency. I love it there and learned so much about media, and PR. once again, I can’t be tamed, I can’t be saved. LOL!

I know this is a long story but bear with me. At 16 years old, I started putting on fashion shows with my friends, picking out clothes, driving to beautiful locations, and directing while taking pictures. I wish someone would’ve encouraged me to follow my passion. But that’s life. LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE.

I decided that corporate photography. It wasn’t for me, and I reached out to wedding photographers to see if I could tag along to a few weddings. I LOVED EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF IT ALL.

Why now? I believe that I had to go on this journey, meet amazing humans, and see what truly brings joy to my heart.
